Dorothy Marie Soltis, 75, died May 8, 2012 in her Leesport residence.
She was the wife of Sylvester John Soltis, whom she married September 15, 1962.
Born June 23, 1936, in St. Clair, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late John Patrick and Mary Tierney.
Dorothy worked in the garment industry as an examiner for Phillips & Jones for 12 years.
Dorothy loved everything about nature and lived for her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Barbara J., wife of Blake E. Giesler of La Mirada, CA, Steven J. Soltis, partner of C. Denise Rompella of Ontelaunee Township and Joan M. Soltis of Leesport; a sister: Sara Schleicher, St. Clair, and one grandchild, Grace B. Giesler.
Dorothy is predeceased by two brothers: James and John Tierney.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Leesport Cemetery.
